Cynthia Zeiden started volunteering at WSJK-TV (PBS) in Knoxville in 1989 while in graduate school at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her first full-time job in public television was at WYCC-TV (PBS) in Chicago in 1992 as Director of Broadcast Operations and then she moved to the San Francisco/Bay Area in 1995 to work at KCSM-TV (PBS) as TV Program Manager until 1999 when she started Zeiden Media.

From then to the present day, she has represented hundreds of documentaries and series produced by professionals around the world that have aired on public television stations around the country.
